tvmedia

I’ve worked in many capacities in food media since 2003. I’ve shopped for productions and cookbook photo shoots – and let me tell you it’s a lot of work finding the “perfect” peach or some wacky Asian vegetable. But it’s so much fun.

I’ve researched. I’ve written culinary breakdowns (step-by-step documents to “break down” the culinary action for filming). I’ve assisted food stylists (did you know you can use Elmer’s glue to make fake milk for a bowl of cereal?) I was the culinary PA on many seasons of Iron Chef America (attended to any culinary needs of the producers, chefs, or hosts). I was also the culinary producer for the very first season of Chopped (ensured all food and equipment was available for set, managed culinary staff, and collaborated with production).
